Camp NaNoWriMo Update #3 – April 2017

This week was even worse than the last for my wordcount. I decreased my goal again from 35k to 30k. And I’m glad that I did it, because I was luckily able to reach this goal on Monday.

Camp NaNoWriMo Update #2 – April 2017

Another week is over and we already reached the middle of Camp NaNoWriMo. The last week was not so good for me, I suffered from depression and lack of motivation. Besides, I got tired of the story and it’s no fun writing it anymore.

Camp NaNoWriMo Update #1 – April 2017

Howdy folks,

it’s 8th April and the first week of Camp NaNoWriMo is already over. I was bleeding words on paper, sweating, crying, fighting – and all for one goal: reaching 50k words by the end of the month.

Time for a quick update so that you know how the camp is going for me this year.

Writing Up Wednesday #7: The Craft of Writing

Howdy everyone,

nice to see you here again. Thanks for visiting my blog. Today we want to talk about writing again – together with Lizzy from The Bent Bookworm.

The topic of the new WUW is: The Craft of Writing.

Lizzy writes on her blog:

How do you learn? Some people insist writers are born, not made. Others say it takes years of learning from authors and teachers to perfect the art. What do you think? What have you done to learn your craft (or not)?

I will try to answer these questions in this blog post.

Writing Up Wednesday #6: Wordcount

It’s another Wednesday, so it’s time for Writing Up Wednesday, hosted by Lizzy on her blog The Bent Bookworm.

This time it’s about the topic: Wordcount Woes.

Writers seem to either obsess over word count or ignore it altogether. Which are you? Why do you find it important or not?

Camp NaNoWriMo Is Coming!

In one week it’s finally here: Camp NaNoWriMo in April 2017! I can’t wait to finally start writing again towards my goal of 50,000 words. For all of those who don’t know Camp NaNoWriMo yet, I want to explain what it is about.

Besides, I will introduce you to my this year’s project in April. Even though I have already done that a few weeks ago in my WUW post. But for those of you who haven’t read it, I want to do it again in this blog post and share some extra information.

Writing Up Wednesday #5: Motivation

After Lizzy from The Bent Bookworm took a pause last week with Writing Up Wednesday, she is back this week with a new topic. And this topic is … tadaaa: Motivation!

Can we write without motivation? And what is our motivation? How can we get motivated on bad days? I’m trying to find the answers to these questions in the following blog post.

Postcard Rarities

Howdy folks,

thanks for stopping by, it’s nice that you visit my blog again. Maybe you have noticed it that this week there was no new topic of Writing Up Wednesday. It’s because Lizzy made a pause of WUW this week. But hopefully, next week it will continue.

I haven’t posted a postcard-related blog post in a while, so I thought it’s time to do that again. My postcard collection meanwhile counts over 1,000 postcards and it’s still growing. I thought that I could show you some rarities, resp. postcards from places where you don’t get a postcard from very often.

Now it’s time for the postcards. Maybe you’ll find a little inspiriation while viewing them.
